The only thing you know for sure on TS is that when someone posts that the defenders are weak the poster is the parent of a forward and when someone posts that the forwards let the team down the poster is the parent of a defender. Dummy, as the previous poster pointed out, my positional hypothetical is a supposition .... While thebOP hammered the defenders and keeper for sucking, his kid was certainly not one of them. The reason the opposition often gets 300 shots a half is not because of the defenders and keeper but because the mids and forwards can't keep the darned ball! 10-0 says a lot about the defense .... And just as much about the mids and forwards who dis no defending and scored no goals. Sorry if I struck a nerve. Yes, i love the midfielder and fwd parents complaining about goals given up when they dont notice their own kid walking aimlessly, marking no one and being responsible for the opposing team having overloads all over the field. This is what happens when so many parents have never played or watched a sport and then think they should offer opinions on why teams lose.Comment
