FC Stars & Scorpions are ECNL next year, not pre, but I agree with your point.

Top 6-8 teams in the state will be playing in three different leagues. Let’s try to get them all in the same flight at the Stars Labor Day tournament and crown our “state champ” while it's still beach weather. They won’t play each other again after that.

This is what happens when greedy club owners try to find ways to make more money. There is no reason for players this young to travel the way they will for "better competition". The Teams locally if they play each other are better than most of the teams we have to travel to play. There goes the weekend for soccer. No way it is in the best interest of a 12 year old to be in a car as much as we are. Why not start these leagues when they hit high school and it is only one season of absurd travel?

There it is another creep on the board. While we talk about how good certain teams are they got to keep it in your pants. I think we all know who has the problem and likes to watch little girls.

I agree and disagree. The ECNL teams that the Stars/Scorpions girls will face (PDA, World Class, SUSA, CFC, MU) on a weekly basis are better than any teams in MA with the possible exception of NEFC/SSS/SOL.

The pre-DA league, on the other hand, is going to see a lot of driving to NY/NJ to play teams that SSS & NEFC will likely blow out on a week to week basis.

Removing SSS/NEFC/Scorpions/Stars top players from the NEP/NPL doesn't leave much competition for SOL.

Yes, the ECNL is a huge step down from playing in NEP. All the top players from around the country play in NEP. Everyone knows that.
