Stars did not pool 2007 group this year. Pooling next year and top 15 girls will come together from all regions for pre ECNL team.

FC Stars
Why would FC STars not want a team in the Premiership of the NEP? Is it a money thing - the level of competition in Premiership is quite amazing - not sure the 07 NPL or Pre-ECNL Team could compete with NEFC Central Elite, Spirit of Liverpool or South Shore Select.
Stars is a big club - should have a team in Premiership

It's a step down, maybe two, from NPL leagues.

The best local teams will be in NEP, and Stars will already be hiding. Sad.

Let me jump in here! If NE NPL has the same clubs as this year at U12, it will have:
Albertsons
Connecticut FC
Continental FC
East Meadow
FC Stars
FSA
Match Fit
PDA
Scorpions
Top end: PDA has a very strong 2007 group, comparable to SSS or NEFC Central.
Middle: At best, comparable to SOL (East Meadow, FSA & Connecticut FC).
Bottom: Continental FC, Match Fit and Scorpions do not have 2007 teams that play anywhere near top bracket at tournaments such as Jefferson Cup, Star Labor Day, Spirit Kickoff or PDA Spring tournament. Don’t know where they are suddenly going to come up with a bunch of strong 2007s.
This year: NEFC 4- East Meadow 2
NEFC 1 - CFC 0
NEFC 6- Albertsons 3
SSS 2- PDA Heat 2
SSS 4- East Meadow 0
SSS 5- FSA 1
PDA 4- SOL 1
Albertson’s 3- SOL 1
If FC Stars stayed in NEP and competed with SSS, NEFC Central, SOL and decent FCUSA & Liverpool (Plymouth) teams, the week to week level of competition would be very similar without the trips south of NYC. Not judging anyones decision, but in my humble opinion, the juice of NPL NE aint worth the squeeze.

Its funny to see this discussion because I got 2 calls and offers from FC Starts to play 07 NE NPL or Pre- ECNL. My daughter currently plays on a team in the NEP Championship division and is a D2 Town Player - She is a average soccer player. I went to tryouts for both teams and the level of talent they are recruiting is not 'top" talent at all. They are looking for bodies not players. My daughter is an average player and she competed with these girls.
Again NPL and Pre-ECNL is just a name at FC Stars - the players on these teams are not even close to the level of talent on the NEFC Elite South Shore Select or Liverpool.
It's a sales pitch to generate more money.
FC Stars is the puppy mill of soccer.

07 - I'll say I don't know so you may be correct
Other ages, not at all correct.
