Originally posted by Unregistered View PostIn fairness, that Stars Blue team has had an awful coach for 2 years. Definitely hurt the development of those kids individually and as a team. That’s why he won’t be coaching any ECNL teams next year. Looks like very few of the current Blue players will be back next year. Not just NEFC players getting spots—players from White and SSS as well.

That leaves 14 from blue & 14 from white, plus any players from outside of Stars, to fight it out for 18-19 spots on White. That’s 10 or so kids cut.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostI disagree. If I had a displaced ECNL player, this is the first place I’d look. You might have to travel a bit and play some weaker competition but you’re getting good training. There is no doubt about it. If the goal is to play ECNL again, where else are you going to get that kind of training?

Players who should not be on top teams are and there is zero accountability. Nothing has changed since we left there and it never will. They have a delusional view of their club. Glad we left and are loving ECNL. The practices are intense, the girls stay 100% focused, if you don’t work hard you don’t play and the coaching is hands on. The ECNL tournaments we have been to are compiled of some of the best teams and competition in the country. GA and NEFC will never give you that. Might suck to hear but it’s the truth...

It's not sustainable for GA teams to lose 5 players-NEFC and Select - 3 players from GA every year. By year 3 both clubs will be in HUGE trouble! This year both will feel it a little but...its the next few years that will be big problems.
