I'm lost. Is someone questioning bottom players at Scorpions don't have more opportunities than top players at those clubs? Of course they have more opportunities. They will be at a minimum of, what 10, 12 events during the course of their careers where coaches are at. Guaranteed. Doesn't mean they will advance to the next level. But, how many guaranteed opportunities do the clubs you mention have? None. Will they get some, sure...some.

Two 1-0 games and two PK shootouts leaves us with:

        Semi finals:

        Beach v. Indy 11 (1-0)
Legends v. Penn Fusion (1-1) (PKs)

        Beach v. Legends final.

Very entertaining to find someone who claims to understand recruiting, but who thinks being at an event "where coaches are at" is the same thing as being recruited or recruitable.

            Very entertaining when idiots reply.

Read it again: Where was it said that they were being recruited, or recruitable.

            Take your time....

            a little longer....

OK, finished? See? It doesn't say that.

            Now, recall the comment earlier:

"I’m talking about the bottom players on Scorpions getting more opportunities than the top players at Surf, Aztec, NEFC DPL on the North Shore etc."

There's a few words in there and some punctuation, so again, no rush, take your time.

Ugh, OK, I can sense your frustration. OK, let me help you, I'll bold it for you this time:

"I’m talking about the bottom players on Scorpions getting more opportunities than the top players at Surf, Aztec, NEFC DPL on the North Shore etc."

See? "Getting more opportunities". Means that...here it comes, the opportunities are greater on Scorpions than the top players on the teams mentioned.

            Does that help?

            No?

I'll even go back and quote the part that caused your diaper rash:

            Again, see the bolded part?

I know, I rushed you. Sorry, there were multiple sentences so it will take a bit. I'll wait

            a little longer

            a little longer

            just a little longer....

OK, good, I think that's enough.

            Think you understand the difference?

All that was said was, in summary: They get more opportunities. How that is a question is, quite honestly, a mystery. No more, no less. It is a simple fact, even for a simpleton, that a player who plays in a league where colleges go to watch consistently will be have more opportunities to be seen by those coaches than a player who plays in a league which offers no guarantee to be see. Doesn't mean they will be seen. Doesn't mean anyone is better or worse. Doesn't even mean they deserve it. It just means, well, again They get more opportunities

You know how it is here, they certainly put down D3, never mind D2 - that's like the homeless cousin for some of the TS snobs

Sad people feel okay with crapping on kids. I never thought of myself as the nicest guy in the room but I’m genuinely happy for everyone’s commitments. I know how good college soccer has been for my kid.

There are many good people in TS who feel good for the kids - sad it gets grossly obscured by the few.

Not to rain on the Scorpions players parade… but there were two players from Western United Pioneers to also commit to St. Michael’s. You heard that right. No need to spend an insane amount of money on club fees and travel expenses when you can accomplish the same results playing for your local club.

The point the poster I think they are trying to make is if you are going to be playing ECNL, you better be ended up at a D1 school......and let's be honest even then you don't need to play ECNL to do that at quite a few D1 schools.
