Coaches recruit players not teams. If a coach sees something of interest in your player they will usually come watch. Stars white kids get recruited. To top teams? No of course not. But there's lots of solid programs out there looking for players and the club has a good reputation.

If your D won't play much on Blue then have her play on white. In the long run she's better off playing a ton than sitting

Yes teams are grouped by overall rankings. Families dont like spending all that money for big blowout games and players will show better in a similar match-up than lopsided games

If you want to be so hard on Stars White let’s have your take on traveling for GA events.

Does it really matter? Do women's professional soccer players make any money?

Hey, on the bright side, at least SSS finally has a fulltime goalie after searching for almost a year that we can all come together and celebrate. Enough of this daily bickering....well done SSS!

No it doesn't. It's funny how much these soccer dads get wound up over this stuff.

Having reached out to many coaches that will be attending FL ECNL showcase, the response back has been overwhelmingly positive. The email back from D1 colleges goes like this, " we can't talk to you directly until 6/15/23, but thanks for sending us your schedule and we look forward to seeing you play in Fl." I'm sure the doors open for the White team as well, even though they might not be playing as highly ranked teams.
ECNL opens doors. Not the team.

Not fully true. Clubs have reputations with coaches. Coaches know the general quality of a club and have built relationships and trust with specific DOCs. Conversely some clubs and DOCs have bad reputations and lack trustworthiness. It’s those long positive relationships partnered with the league that open the doors.

Who said anything about womens pro soccer? The prize is a good education, partially paid for by playing soccer

Do you people put GAL stickers on your cars or is that too embarrassing?

In general yes, but does FSA open as many doors as Stars Blue?

Well, as mentioned above, early December had local games at the Stars complex for 2007 girls. Games were played on adjoining fields with a number of college coaches sitting in the middle of the two games.

                        Saturday:

                        Blue v. FSA
                        White v. Scorpions

                        Sunday:

                        Blue v, Scorpions
                        White v, FSA

Pretty sure they could see the FSA players as well. And despite FSA struggling, they have a handful of solid players.

Yes , does stars blue open up as many doors as scorpions ? Last time I checked , scorpions sent the Mewis sisters to USWNT.

Not sure anyone looks solid in a 9-0 loss.

Not the op and certainly some clubs like FSA have poor reputations. Kids get recruited from there but the program level will be nothing like Stars Blue. But there are a lot programs out there from top D1 to lowest D3 all looking for players. Not sure if one as poor as FSA can get their whole bench recruited though

An individual player can, especially if they show grit and determination in a tough game
