They do not have the top players in the region!!!!!!

Why aren't these New Enlgand players with the Revs?
Let's review the New England Revolution Academy and Bryan Scales' failures as Youth Director since 2007.
The following New England based players should have been with the first team and any explanation as to why they are not should be unacceptable from the Kraft Sports Group's point of view.
Charlie Rugg
Zeiko Lewis
Jack Harrison
Miles Robinson
Mac Steeves
Andrew Wheeler-Omiunu
These are players who played their youth soccer in the Revs geographical area and should have been scouted, indentified and placed in the system immediately for pathway to the First team. Shame on them.

Years of systematic failures of an MLS team's youth director's in depth knowledge and unwillingness to forge relationships with local soccer coaches, the inability to learn the landscape and mistakes at the identification level. Billelo and Burns always preach of how having local players as pros help to build the fanbase. Well, they have failed mightily.
