Many of their players are given waivers so other players realize that and realize that they're going to give up their High School career and only get bumped out of Academy soccer once the wavered players come back. So they don't even bother playing Academy. Plus the technical coaching at Seacoast is basically non-existent, as is the case with all clubs and Academy's, and their scouting of talent is pretty bad also.

Simple, bias of YNT scouts, Revs have a monopoly there, and also opportunities, like Generation Adidas Cup, for more exposure that are exclusively for MLS academies. The players who did stick with Seacoast and graduated last year are getting a lot of minutes as freshmen on their college teams. I was surprised to see that, as the Seacoast teams haven't been that strong lately, but it just goes to show that Seacoast's main problem is depth (understandable due to the relative lack of population compared to where the Revs are located). Talented players are still getting good training and are able to successfully compete in college.

Some are playing a good amount, some have flamed out. Also, there should be more than 4-6 players graduating am I right? So are the rest not committed or just no info on them? I find the later unlikely as the D1 commits are easy to track and the poster who does those lists is pretty accurate
how are the guys from CT doing? CA, DJ, JB?

28 kids in one age group were mentioned and not one Revs player? Maybe they're on to something.

I just called US Soccer to report of blatant breaking of the rules. He cannot play for other teams (Valeo, Portuguese Club) if he is rostered on a US Soccer Academy team. From what my son told me, he traipsed around Europe playing for Valeo and this other club all summer and fall. Then he comes back to Seacoast no problem playing 80 minutes.

Privileged Newton parents know that rules are made to be broken.

If he followed the Seacoast rules, he probably did.

Either a really boring troll or a very pathetic & jealous *******. Not a good look, either way. I would keep this kind of **** to yourself in real life.

This Seacoast team has no problem breaking several DA rules. Luckily for them they're up in NH and are not particularly relevant so no one really cares.

That's a good point. Or they are on field #76 at showcases.

Guaranteed it's the same troll who's been slamming them for going in the first place. He's been relentless in his criticism.

Someone let JonJon Kraft know that this thread will be the #1 all time thread on TS by New Years Eve. What an accomplishment for the Revs!
