For all of the international teams, their worst players are better than our best players (that goes for all of the MLS DA team in this tournament).

Absolutely true. The International clubs (Independiente, Flamengo etc) are all at the top of the of the GA Cup divisions and killing MLS Academy teams. The Academy is officially an epic fail and the reason is coaching, pure and simple. As far as the Revs go, Mike Burns should overhaul the entire system and fire the Youth Director today!!!

Mike Burns is part of the problem. Maybe he can start with firing himself. The Kraft won't do it because a professional coaching staff won't tolerate what they put up with the lack of commitment from the owner.

That's why they hire former public high school scrubs as coaches.

THIS. Krafts want to spend for a USL or NASL level team. They must be staunchly against pro/rel. 20 years ago, the Krafts could get away with this, or even be seen as great supporters of the game here. But now they're getting lapped and blown away by new clubs - google the training center Atlanta just unveiled. Imagine...real grass fields, lol.

Do Burns and Scales get the maximum out of the players/teams with what they have to work with? Highly questionable.

The boys out there in Dallas got skinned, but it's the adults in charge at fault for not putting them in positions to compete much less succeed.

NYCfc won their 16 group with the youngest team. Won their last game with 10 men

Revs could play with 13 and not be competitive

Put in a proven local club director with a proven track development record like Christian Battaglia of NEFC to replace Brian Scales immediately.

I suggest Scales step into his little bathroom of the fleabag motel where he's staying in Frisco and take a good hard look in the mirror and hopefully realize it's time to step down. He failed miserably.

Nah, he blames the region's talent pool and players he has to choose from every time. He's plays the victim. Arrogant fvck and a half. Go back to Umass, Cornell or wherever you gained such precious soccer wisdom, idiot.

That tall kid is so lost. Not picking on him, picking on the HS coaches that are teaching him.
