The Revs training ruins talent. My kid was there too long.

Competition is good at DAP/Revs, training not at the level my kid got in club prior to the Revs. That part was a major disappointment. If I knew what I knew now I would not have had my kid accept a Revs offer. There is potential at the Revs to be great, but it first starts with training and what they currently have/due is not the level it should be. So pick your poison.

        It’s $35MM for your information.

The bigoted comment about Portuguese people was the icing on this low rent, low IQ cake.

Kraft isn’t spending $35 M or $35MM. He already owns the land.
You're a self-fulfilling prophecy. I suppose you build your facilities for free on land you own with what? robots or slaves you own?. They dished $35M for the facility . Heck a turf field costs $2M.

Do your parents still house and feed you?

42,000 square feet of buildings and three new full-size fields – two natural grass surfaces and one turf pitch. With the club’s existing training field, Gillette Stadium, and the Empower Field House, upon completion the center will feature a total of six professional-grade fields. The existing natural grass field will be dedicated for use by the Revolution Academy.

          Don't get it. 3 fields + 2 fields = 6 fields?

What’s the cost per sq ft of a 42,000 sq ft cube?

The best facilities for 1,000 miles won't matter if the coaching still sucks and management doesn't care (about DA).

Was supposed to open this summer. It's mid August. How's it going?

Ya know, after all these posts...I might be starting to think the Revs aren't going to make any changes.

They’re allowing players to participate in high school soccer now. That’s a change.

Well the choice was let us play HS or we’re leaving. Scales folded.

Fill out the waiver and have your lawyer send it to the Revolution office and U.S. Soccer.

Playing HS and the Revs isn't a god given right. Good luck with your lawsuit. Your lawyer will appreciate the extra $

Money has “In God We Trust” on it so in a way it’s a god given right. The more money you have the more rights you enjoy.

Either you provide waivers or you don’t. If you do you should expect challenges. It’s much cheaper to concede than to have this process of privilege under the microscope while fighting it in court.

USDA is not a public institution. You agree to abide by their rules when you register and the rules for waivers are there in black and white. You have many other options that let you play school soccer. You're not denied anything; it's a choice. And no one cares about kids playing in some elite soccer league, let alone if you're playing for free. A judge will laugh if you're complaining about not being able to play for an expensive private school.

btw In God We Trust was added in the 50s during the height of fears of godless communism. But in America you are free to waste your money on frivolous lawsuits.

Maybe it’s not a question of “not being able to play for an expensive private school” but a recognition that you shouldn’t have to go to expensive private schools at all to qualify.

Discrimination refers to the treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit.

Has a public school waiver ever been issued by the USSDA? If not, things could get interesting should a public school player apply for one and be denied.
