"Arena added that Homegrown Players are also part of the plan and that he will “be bringing some people that have expertise” in player development “to help move us along” and “build a product” that produces first-team contributors. New England currently doesn’t have a USL arm and its academy, under Bryan Scales, has produced mixed results as compared to the rest of MLS."
