The Revs seem to think that 'playing up' is the best development path. But just to use that age group as an example, they had the Brazilian striker play up all last year and not one call up this year to play up or NT. Their NT defender plays up every game for 90 minutes and has been knocked off the NT. The past few games the 04's have played up messing up their chemistry. For what?

In the Beachside game the 04's didn't come in until after we were down 2-0.

In the Westchester game we started a 2002 and didn't bring in 04's until we were down 2-1.

For Seacoast we played all 03's and we didn't score until late in the game. The team was coming off a terrible Bolts loss so I'm sure the coaches couldn't afford to lose to a NH team.

Against the Bolts we played all 03's and even brought in a 2002 at the end to try and draw or win.

There's definitely a chemistry issue but I don't think it has anything to do with the 04's.

The chemistry issue is that it is that time of year and it's even worse on a team such as u15 Revs when it is so obvious "the dream" is not to be. The 5-6 2003s that will be around next year for major minutes on a dual age team have already been chosen. It was your job as a parent to have a plan B already lined up. Too late now. Good luck in those 7 NEP matches next spring.

It's still a Rev developmental model issue. They don't know what the f they are doing.

Actually this is mandated by USS if you knew anything. USS promotes the idea that a handful of the most talented players (see NYCFC for examples) should play up and excel if they are truly talented. In short, you don't know what f you are talking about but we already knew that. Doesn't really matter for you anymore anyway, does it?

This almost makes it sound positive. That U17 team is dysfunctional and dismal. They should pay these 03's to join the team. They may be its only bright spot.

The bright spot will be when we don't see you next fall. Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Playing up does not do most kids any good. More playing time makes the player better, not playing just 10 minutes playing up. Common sense. If playing up and playing minimum half the game then OK. Other than that the Revs are doing a kid a disservice. Nobody can develop playing 10 minutes a game.

OK USS doesn't know what the f they are doing either.

Agree. USS should promote Fluffy's mom to director of youth dev.

How about age appropriate players getting 5 minutes, or 1 minute at the end of a match.

The Revs take the Development out of Development Academy.

Or maybe just release the player at the appropriate time in the year so that he may join another academy or club. Why these boys stay is a mystery but maybe their parents want them to meet their commitments.

That was your responsibility. That seems to be the root of many of your issues.

Still the skanky stalkers reading sheets for clues. They should go back where they came. Disgusting family of Stalkers and talkers. One day they will snap and commit a felony instead of their petty daily crimes.
