I have an honest question. Even if your team is the best in the country, how in the world do you justify missing an entire week of school to play a seemingly pointless soccer tournament? School comes first in our house.

Missing out on high school soccer.
Missing out on extracurricular activities that bolster your college applications.
Missing out on social events with family and friends.
Is DA soccer really worth it when you realize 2/3 of the kids going on to college soccer from MA are simply playing NPL and not DA.

DAP is not for everyone. The Generations Adidas tournament is one of the most watched youth tournaments in the world. Obviously, if the team is doing well you could not match the exposure for colleges. This current Revs team is a different story.

This thread is the Tom Brady of Talking Soccer. It's already the #1 thread ever on TS and it just keeps pouring it on. I predict it gets to over 10,000 replies before all is said and done. It may last longer than the Krafts do with the Revs.
