I have nothing against Bolts or GPS, they are both good clubs. I was just responding with the reasons why our kid plays for the Revs.
Do not lump the Bolts and GPS together mate. FC Bolts have Academy level, GPS has the Bradley wallet padding pyramid. This is an Academy thread I believe.
Don't you guys keep losing to the Bolts. Imagine if you played GPS. Keep rocking in the fetal position and chanting "highest level teams."
Hold up a second. GPS??? Who do they effin play? The league and level of competition is totally inferior to the USSDA, not even close. No college coach looks at NPL or boys ECNL level players. NONE!!!!

Please don't make this thread morph into another GPS/ Bayern money Munchin' thing. GPS is for unathletic academy rejects.

The college coaches who are also ECNL don't look at their own players?
How do you know it's the best team? Is that in the contract?
You may argue whether the Bolts or Revs is a better team, but the Revs clearly have the better players and individual player development is all the Revs is interested in. They do an ok job, I wish it was better, but short of moving away from Boston, it is the best opportunity my kid has to develop as a player.

Compare the u17 Bolts striker's stats to that of all the Revs strikers and then say that. Not sure who trained him over the past year but his numbers are ridiculous.

The Bolts striker is awesome, But the Revs striker is a better long-term prospect with NT interest. He is a very young 02 with great development potential.

Give us a break. None of the Revs strikers are scoring, this Bolts kid certainly is.

Thanks, Revs Dad! What's your kids initials and I'll go take a look.

If the Revs were really about development then their contracts would be multi-year. Instead they churn and burn kids. The other curious aspect is that development appears to stagnate and in come cases reverse the longer players are there. The picture you paint is more marketing than an actual demonstrable outcome.

Wait until the Revs poach the Bolts striker and the current Revs striker with all the potential spends 60% of his time on the bench next year. That should help his development. Poor kid.

The Bolts kid has 18. LB is ok but none of the others have done much of anything. Big and fast might get a lot of goals at a younger ages but not when all the players are big and fast. No point in lying to your kid, sorry dad.
