SO not one plane. Two, just in case. Total cost $20 million, not including the maintenance moving forward.

If this isn't a slap in the face at the entire Revolution program, I don't know what is.
Face it - the Revs pro team is treated like dirt too. So why would anyone expect a youth program that costs them money (at least the pro team probably makes a few bucks and helps keep the facility occupied in the NFL off season) to be treated well?

      You don't understand accounting.

Also, Kraft makes more money on Brady jerseys than he does on the Revs.

        Revs 2017 payroll = $5,800,118.33

        Patrick Chung 2017 salary = $6,200,000

Brian Billelo and Mike Burns, a couple of Kraft puppets. Bullsh*t smokescreen of a soccer organization.

It's was the incompetence of the Rev coaching and the institution sitting back and watching it happen.

The best part is that Scales is so sure that all the players will just take whatever they have been dealt because this is, after all, the Revs and everyone should kiss the ground in gratefulness. I'm glad players quit.
According to someone 200 posts ago, the only reason the so many young Revs made the NT camps is the connection with NT scouts and the USSF. Which if true, would make for rich irony given that the boys would have had their egos inflated so high that they thought they outgrew the Revs.

So not right. If the REv coaches had any influence in who would go to the camps, it would have been 5 other kids instead. (ok maybe one would have been a Rev pick but definitely not the others)

The Revs are the laughing stock of MLS. New ownership is needed here, it has become a joke.

How does a player makes a NT camp or even NTC without the coaches putting him forward? USSF lacks the resources to fund and field an effective scouting program that could kick over rocks and find players not "identified" in the system.

To be fair, it's a big country.

On the other hand, the USMNT lost out of Subotic and he was playing in a public park across the street from Bradenton. Yes, that was years ago, but I don't believe for a second that Pulisic would have been identified by anyone in the system, much less found an MLS coach with the cojones or common sense to play him at 17. He'd have been stuck on some DA team "developing".

That poor kid, Zach Herivaux who squandered a full ride to Providence College to be entrusted in the hands of Jay Heaps and Mike Burns. Two buffoons.

                        That's depressing.

Diego Fagundez needs to demand a trade and get the F outta here. Both Parma and Fiorentina have shown interest. The Revs ruined that kid's soccer career. Jay Heaps is a legit nobody.

He would have benefited from college play, particularly in that program. He wasn't ready to play professionally when he signed.

I know what Youth Director Brian Scales probably thinks. He thinks New England players suck and he's dealt with the cards he's dealt with, and left with trying to polish turds. He's probably right in a sense ,but his under qualified misfit coaches bring no added value.

If you think everyone is a turd you're going to turn out turds. Attitude matters. So can the threat of losing your job, which obviously doesn't apply here.
