When does the Academy get access to the new clubhouse?

    Comment

There is a false narrative being circulated that there are two tiers in the newly created EYDP. This is a mischaracterization of the league structure. While there is a “professional pathway” component, it is most certainly not a separate entity within the EYDP. The professional pathway provides the truly talented player with an opportunity to progress from the EYDP to USL2, and eventually the first team, should they possess the skill, drive and mental toughness necessary to compete at the next level. The most notable difference between the professional pathway and the “elite player pathway” that the non-MLS teams provide is Generation Adidas participation. MLS teams will continue to compete at Generation Adidas, while non-MLS teams will not. In terms of scheduling during both the fall and spring seasons, our MLS and non-MLS teams will compete against one another on a weekly basis. The EYDP consists of strategically formed regional conferences specifically created to reduce unnecessary travel. Without our collaboration with the 65 non-MLS Founding Member clubs the EYDP platform simply wouldn’t be viable. I hope this clears up any questions about the EYDP.

23 Non MLS clubs ranked higher than Revs. How bright is their future??

Amusing that Inter Miami hasn't played a single game, but is still ranked above Revs. I mean, I guess you could say Inter Miami is undefeated?

Compare management at the two clubs. Says it all doesn't it?

A list of clubs that cross platforms isn't exactly accurate. Nice try though.

Check out league standings leading up the shutdowns, or the year before. There Revs weren't exactly crushing it in BDA. For being the only MLS club for a few hundred miles they shouldn't have so much trouble attracting the area's best talent, or training them with that crack coaching staff

Just pointing out Soccerwire is about as reliable a source for accurate lists as a randomly chosen parent is.

Totally agree, which is why I suggested the poster look at head to head DA results.

What ever you save on not paying for the revs, goes in supplemental training such as this one.
My kid does Revs and Pro Project training for several years. Pro project sessions are way better, Revs training is boring and low intensity.
