Agree. Having been involved with both DAP and prep boys soccer it's safe to say that too NEPSAC teams like Berkshire, South Kent, 2015 Milton, Worcester Academy, Loomis, 2014 Lawrence were all playing DAP level soccer.

As has been mentioned here in the past there is really no comparison to these top prep teams versus the top Mass HS teams. Older players, recruiting and international players separate NEPSAC from high school soccer. Just like basketball and hockey NEPSAC is the best pre college school soccer league in the country.

Case in point: Former Berkshire player (now at BC) taken in first round of MLS draft this week. Former Bolts player (at Syracuse) taken #2 overall, and former GPS/ISL player (Harvard) picked in 3rd round. Any other Mass-based players picked?

How would the top ISL teams (Brooks or Milton), do against a DA team? Let's put them up against a middle of the pack Northeast team, Everton Westchester, which is right in between Bolts & Seacoast in the U17/18 standings currently. The ISL teams can use any DA waivered players they might have.

I wouldn't mind more talk about Black Rock. My son is applying to prep schools and several of the coaches mentioned it to us, as a good option over his current club. I don't know much more than that, and would love to know more.

Perhaps reflective that neither (for different reasons) is yet a first choice destination for many. Also nobody listed yet for any of Merrimack, Stonehill, SNHU- the DIIs tend to get decided later but these always take at least a couple/few local kids.
