There are two Super Y games tonight you could check out.
GU15 Wed Jun 13 6:00 pm Seacoast United at MPS Boston 9/11 Field
GU14 Wed Jun 13 8:00 pm Seacoast United at MPS Boston Medway HS
Since most non-MPS clubs will be having tryouts next week (not sure about MPS), you'll need to marshal your daughter's time well to get her to a couple of tryouts or to watch any practices before the tryout period closes. It might be helpful to check out a Super Y league game or two if you are concerned about quality. Seacoast and MPS are two of the stronger clubs I believe.
Seacoast 15s did scrimmage Stars 14s a few weeks back. They had some good players and seemed well coached.
Both looked like nice clubs with nice coaches and parents.

It seems to be "the club" in NH and of course has access to the facility they built, which is a plus. The parents of the Stars 14s from NH indicated it was by far the best team in the age group (from NH).Light travels faster than sound; this is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

That's how MPS Boston looked in the State Cup RR. A few very strong kids (one defender, one midfielder, and one striker). The rest were good but not outstanding. The team has potential but needs more depth. Good team that could be very competitive with some additions.[/quote]
Which team(s) is this referring to? Just curious...

Isn't this the same for most teams that do the D1/D2 shuffle? I doubt that a team at this age has a lot of kids that came up exclusively through the MPS system but I assume that the expectations are that the players will be kept consistent and that the training and coaching will elevate the level of play. Unfortunately this raely gets you to that next level. The good thing for MPS is that they can still attract quality additions to teams at U16 and above, even if the teams don't establish themselves as first tier by 14 or 15. It may not be next year but I predict that this team will be in the State Cup final by U17 or 18.
