Let’s start with Solo’s history of PUBLICLY announced transgressions. Probably a lot more incidents that occurred privately with her teammates.

She clearly has a history of issues fueled by alcohol, anger management and childhood trauma. More than likely was on probation/zero tolerance after the 2015 incident.

- 2016 she made waves about her Zika concerns
- In 2015 she was suspended after her husband Jerramy Stevens was arrested for a DUI while driving a U.S. Soccer van with her in the vehicle.
- in 2014 she was arrested for allegedly attacking her half-sister and nephew.
- in 2012 she blasted former U.S. player Brandi Chastain over criticisms of the team in 2012.
- In 2007 she was benched at World Cup. She tore down fellow goalie Briana Scurry after the team lost in the 2007 World Cup semifinals.

Give me a break! I can rattle off a couple of dozen NFL players who have done much worse and received nothing more than a slap on the wrist. You're an idiot. Hope Solo has been an incredible athlete, loyal to her team mates and country and more importantly a strong independent woman who makes no apologies for being human.

A female athlete in this country gives her opinion about how an opponent played and she gets black balled.

She's gotten away with bad and illegal behavior for 17 years. She has be enabled because she's a great athlete.

As the owner of my own company and having worked for others in the past I can say you are 110% correct. Naturally people should be give a 2nd chance. But she's had 3, 4, 5 chances. I still can't believe some idiot(s) still keep defending her.
