Wrong - my daughter's hs age team fee was less than this and included all training fees, a training kit, tournaments, regional league play (including required referee payments) and all associated coach's travel/hotel costs. Every Stars team fee is slightly different depending on whether it is a year round team (basically up through U14) and the plans for the team for the year since league and tournament costs are budgeted into the fee. Anyone who posts a blanket figure like this for all Stars teams doesn't know what they are talking about - not unusual for this forum.

FC United U15 up 1100.00 for spring, plus uniforms, plus winter training, plus tournaments.
U14 down, 1575.00 fall and spring, plus winter, plus uniforms, plus tournaments and no age includes coaches fees or travel for tournaments, so that is another add. State cup is included..

I managed a team several years ago. The cost of travel and hotels was slightly lower then, but at that time the per player cost for each tournament application and coach's travel costs for a two or three day tournament requiring airfare was about $90 (assuming 18 on the roster). Disney, Raleigh and Vegas would be more (especially Disney), some other locations would be slightly less. It might be more today since airfares and tournament fees have gone up.

MPS includes Unis in that number

I see Fuller Hamlets are one the more affordable clubs.

U10 $800 full year uniform included

U11-14 $1025 full year (plus uniform if needed)

U15 and up is about half of that.

Tournaments are extra. Small fee for indoor training facility rental.

This is a great price for the hs teams. Do you feel there is value for the mid-level player - say low Div. 1 Div. 2 MAPLE? How many practices a week during the season?

MPS has the highest fees I have run across. And the fee did not include tournaments. We recently received e-mail notification that we now owed sever more hundred to cover tournament fees. It may have been stated when we first joined the program but I sure don't recall seeing a line item on their website saying we would have to pay yet another fee for tournaments on top of the initial high tuition.

Yes uniforms - games and practice and a bag is included. At least they look good.

This is why some poster who lists club fees he/she thinks they know is not doing any one a service. It's all about what you pay in total at the end of the year and what you get for it. In fairness to MPS - according to their website, they have more practices than many of the more mainstream clubs that only practice twice a week. If your kid takes advantage of the practices then the fee may be worthwhile. Some would rather not have to pay for new uniforms each year. Many clubs Like Scorps for example have more like a three year cycle. Some clubs use indoor leagues or futsal as their winter training; others (Stars eg.) are famous for kids practicing outdoors on turf in January and February. Scorpions offers U18 players free tuition if they've been with the club for a few years - that might be worthwhile or not depending on whether the team is the right level for your player. So even free may not be the best (look a K Mewis now off with Select)

What club website lists fees anyway?

Tournaments costs are increasing for everyone the costs for your team are fully dependent on what tournaments the team goes to. The farther away, the more expensive.

The breakdown is in the handbook, learn to read.

Whoever posted the FH fee's should have kept quiet. You knew someone who is paying a lot would put out a back handed comment/compliment.

Fuller Hamlets has never been in it for the money.

Actually I was looking for my kid. But I guess she isn't good enough.

I agree! If you want to run with the big dogs, shut up or stay home!

I think every team has at least 2, 2 hour practices. Some have three, depends on the coach.

Despite what you might read here, it's a good sound club.

The move is on over there to a professional full time DOC with this springs hiring of national team coach Bradley Stewart as interim DOC.

They have several college coaches and routinely place players in college, often earning scholarship money.

Like all clubs they have tryouts in June, but you can contact the appropriate coach or the club ahead of that time.
