Just ask the people who are complaining in Florida about team costs that are under $1000. Most are much less than that. The difference between the northern states and the southern states is amazing. Post your cost on the Fl board and see the response.

Cost is relative to what you get for your money. Just because something costs more, doesn’t always make it a good value.

For Perspective - in North Carolina - Major club - GYS Soccer - U18 Premier
$1300 fees+ $225 uniform
5 Tourneys - (CASL Shootout, Triangle Friendlies, VCCL Showcase, Jacksonville 11v11, Tampa Sun)
Pro Coach (Div 1, Asst)
3-1.5hr practices a week (club mandate for premier) on Turf
Spring 9 game Season
Then end of season party, coaches gift, team mom gift, club fundraiser, travel costs ....
probably not much diff than MA - other than we can drive to all tournaments.

In MA were are into the mindset of 2 training sessions and 7 game Spring season. Just not enough.
It comes from the double roster U10-U14 where they train once with town, twice with premier and then two games on the weekend. This is all messed up too.

If what you expect is more service for less money then that may or may not be possible. For example, it is unreasonable to expect to have 50% more practices for the same amount of money.
If what you're talking about is that the little dogs may not be as prestigious or get into the same tournaments or leagues or whatever - that is possible - but theoretically that's not what you care about, right? You don't care about that stuff and just want your kid to have a place to play. Just don't expect everyone else to have the same priorities.
