Anybody out there figured out how it's going to work with Stars, Scorps and now third wheel BB, all being from eastern Mass?

I find that NEFC parents will believe anything they are told. Boston Breaker Academy will be holding open try-outs for their ECNL teams next year. Do you really think that all the players on the current NEFC Elite teams will make the ECNL team. Is this what you were promised, then I have swamp land to sell you. They will be recruiting players just like every other club and the players in 2 or 3 years will be much more different than the players today. When this happens Boston Breakers will not need NEFC anymore because Boston Breakers control the ECNL tag and will also control the GDAP when that is announce next year. I do not care about how good NEFC is at business and how solid their partnership might be on paper but if BBA can disolve its partnership with FCB midyear, I am sure they can do the same with NEFC. LB is only out for him and Boston Breakers Academy. The million dollar question NEFC parents should be asking is who is coaching these ECNL teams next year. Will TD, LB, JA, SH, CT, RL, NB or some other coach.

Also, the age group change is the X factor in all this so beware of where your daughter is in the new pecking order for next year.

This would likely lead to their ECNL demise. Building the youth infrastructure that NEFC has takes time and talent that Breakers do not have. Also, NEFC cannot run roughshod over Breakers because they have the "prized" badge.
Both need one another.

rarely over the last 10 years or so has the new england area produced 2, let alone 3 teams in the same age group able to compete successfully on the national level at the same time.
the talent is just not there. maybe dap with dual years will help, so we are really really talking 2.5 teams not 3. or maybe these teams will be attractive enough to draw kids from the far reaches of new england. even so, it seems a stretch to think the area will have 3 national level teams...
unless by support you mean parents will shell out big bucks. then we could have more than 3!
what am i missing?
