Couldn't watch it. Followed on Twitter. Sounded like the US dominated second half. Two shots of the frame.

We need more quality in midfield.

The same slow, slow play without purpose from US. Hard to watch period. Forwards that cannot finish , poor movement off the ball ..... They got what they played to earn, a draw. Damn they are hard to watch, especially if you want to learn something. D Yedlin, would it kill you to take a defender 1v1 ?

      Bring on El Classico

No kidding! what a boring game! Altidore gave Zardes a perfect cross in the 1st half which he should have put away. we did hit the woodwork twice but that was the only excitement the US was able to generate for 90 minutes. c'mon guys where's the gusto and creativity? Cameron and Bradley were ok. I thought Altidore and Jones had a good game though. Nagbe didn't impress but I'll cut him some slack as it was his 1st game for the US.

They suck, nothing more need be said. Fire the coach and reboot with some youth and get rid of the aging group of mediocre players we have

            Thanks for the thread.

I'm really not sure we have one player with genuine soccer instincts on this team.

Either Klinnsman is lazy with his scouting or unable to recognize players with the skill set necessary to operate in a cohesive, productive unit on a soccer field.

            Either way he should go.

The game seems to be on fire in the U.S. I drive by fields at night and see loads of young kids practicing like never before. It's a shame that we have such an uninspiring national product.

Loads of young kids practicing...how inspiring. Creativity is taught by playing, not getting instruction at every turn.
A Montessori approach to training would be more productive.
We have zero talent in the pipeline: u17-23 cannot compete.
It is a virtual failure from top to bottom.
It has nothing to do with Klinsmann; why we continue to blame him is beyond me.
I'm sure changing the birth dates will fix everything.
But keep giving the clubs all your money...

DAP is developing loads of talented players! Tony Lepore should be fired!

If Jermaine Jones did not have a German connection, would he be on the team?

I can give you one example of why Klinnsman should be blamed.
Juan Agudelo is not on the team. Not even on the U23 team that will play in the Olympics.
Juan had been hurt for awhile but recently was regaining his form which even at 50% is better than Altidore. And Zardes or Yedlin????. Those guys are not soccer players. They are good athletes but in the world of soccer they are square pegs that Klinnsman insists on trying to fit into round holes. There has to be better SOCCER players than these guys.

I only can mention Agudelo because I haven't seen many other teams outside of New England. But I'm sure there are other hidden gems missed by Klinnsman and his underlings as they continue to insist on the same flawed game pieces.

This is what a real player looks like:

You'll be referencing Freddy Adu next.

You forget that Klinsmann wasn't hired just to coach the team. He was hired to revolutionize the whole player development system. I think it's safe to say that didn't happen.

Exactly. And that is why he cannot use the excuse that there is not enough talent in this country

If they lose their next game AT Guatemala, half way through this stage of qualifying they would be on the outside looking in for the next World Cup

He did. The birth dates have moved.
