We need more quality in midfield.

They suck, nothing more need be said. Fire the coach and reboot with some youth and get rid of the aging group of mediocre players we have

Thanks for the thread.
I'm really not sure we have one player with genuine soccer instincts on this team.
Either Klinnsman is lazy with his scouting or unable to recognize players with the skill set necessary to operate in a cohesive, productive unit on a soccer field.
Either way he should go.
The game seems to be on fire in the U.S. I drive by fields at night and see loads of young kids practicing like never before. It's a shame that we have such an uninspiring national product.

A Montessori approach to training would be more productive.
We have zero talent in the pipeline: u17-23 cannot compete.
It is a virtual failure from top to bottom.
It has nothing to do with Klinsmann; why we continue to blame him is beyond me.
I'm sure changing the birth dates will fix everything.
But keep giving the clubs all your money...

Juan Agudelo is not on the team. Not even on the U23 team that will play in the Olympics.
Juan had been hurt for awhile but recently was regaining his form which even at 50% is better than Altidore. And Zardes or Yedlin????. Those guys are not soccer players. They are good athletes but in the world of soccer they are square pegs that Klinnsman insists on trying to fit into round holes. There has to be better SOCCER players than these guys.
I only can mention Agudelo because I haven't seen many other teams outside of New England. But I'm sure there are other hidden gems missed by Klinnsman and his underlings as they continue to insist on the same flawed game pieces.
This is what a real player looks like:
