What happened to getting an education? Is this daddy living through his children. Using all his connections to deny truly talented kids at the game from a chance? Seems like the bolts organization is infested with this disease... If all else fails I guess there is PDL.. Toot toot...
Spot on! I was just at a presentation in our town by Bob Bigelow. These are the guys ruining youth sports for our kids.

1)BS/BA from Stanford
2)BS/BA from Northeastern
3)MF/F at Leikner
Which will best prepare this young man for his adult life?

I would prefer my kid to get a degree from Stanford or NU and then pursue professional soccer if that is an option that is available. At least then there is something to fall back on when all is said and done. If the kid wants to pursue professional soccer now then that is his and his families decision. IMO not the best decision. I would have insisted that my kid stayed at Stanford even if he was not playing soccer.
