Attrition is even more stark than that. My son has a recruiting class of 8 and now in his junior year he is the only one still playing.

For most of these kids, the goal is to get into a good college and play ball. Either the Bolts are doing a decent job (despite the W/L/T) or they start out with smart kids and parents with good connections. Either way, the numbers look pretty good.
