Bucknell doesn't have high SAT or GPA requirements as Holy Cross or even Colgate for that matter.

Bucknell has higher SAT's and GPA's than Holy Cross. Not as good as Colgate though. You really should check the stats before posting.

Also don't forget that Holy Cross games the system by not requiring students to submit SAT's, so all of their students with poor SAT's don't show up in the stats.

It's obvious that you are clueless about Patriot League schools, so why post?

The bottom line is that any Patriot League school is an outstanding choice for a great education. They are all top tier schools. And not requiring students to submit SAT scores is certainly not unique to Holy Cross. Hundreds of schools have gone this route operating under the theory that there are many more important aspects to a well rounded student than test scores.

They are not all "top tier"--unless one has a very expansive conception of "top tier." They are very good schools, maybe even some of them are excellent. Exaggerating their academic reputations and strength of student bodies is not doing anyone a service.

Easy to say. Much different when your high end academic kid is sweating out whether he or she gets an admit at Bucknell and finds him or herself on the waiting list. Excellent school, great programs, gorgeous campus.

The reality of what is "top tier" doesn't care about one's own personal situation. But congrats to Bucknell admits.

Interesting comment about not requiring sat scores. I have some research to do. I would think that not submitting sat scores would be for non athletes because the patriot league requires all schools to sumit and share academic index score of those who have been admitted in order to keep the integrity of education and student athletes.

Three Patriot League schools in Top Ten for return on investment. Not bad.

Sorry--actually 4. I went to a public school and can't count very well.

The previous top ten are liberal arts only. This list is more complete and shows a fuller picture.
