yet another statement that shows people have a warped way of viewing things unfortunately...what is not up for debate (in my mind) at least is that the V team is very, very good. They don't have to prove it to the yahoos on this board but rather let their playing on the field show people. Then you pull a stunt like this and have people on this board talk about "this is how they train, etc". Do you think anyone trains to play otherwise ? But some coaches and teams know how to win and lose well, and take good things from both. I hope this team is ready for being on the other end some day, because everyone's day comes. In the meantime, don't ruin your teams reputation for skill and good soccer by talking like a bunch of fools.

For those teams now playing 11v11, how has training been going as your boys learn new formations and make tactical adjustments

Having to make longer runs to arrive at the net seems to be one major change. If a team is not in good physical shape, they can be outrun by the second half.

As far as new formations, some boys have a hard time figuring out the midfield, but other than that, it was an easy transformation to the bigger field. Just have to take the plunge.

The ball is, of course, larger for U13 which is, of course, harder to kick long distances for little feet.

Why can't our children's sports activities *matter* now? So what if they won't play beyond 8th grade? Why does it only *matter* later? I may be dead by then so let us enjoy our kids NOW as everyone else should be doing.
