Results since merger last winter:

7-0 playing up at U12 maple white last spring
2-1 at NEEDHAM tourney....loss was actually. 0-0 tie but lost on PKs
4-0 at nefc tourney to start spring playing up at U13
4-0 at Lou Ramos tourney
3-0 at U13 maple blue so far in fall
2-0 so far in EDP

22-1 since merger

Will they lose this year...of course they will
Are they the best in MA.....maybe
Are they future pros......nope

But give them some credit they play well as a team are having fun and putting up results

Sorry we are now discussing the best u13 team on the other thread. Someone mentioned PTUSA as a close second but Valeo u12 beat them. At least there's a discussion to be had.

You brought up SC not anyone from Valeo. Nobody has brought up EDP games except to say that Valeo will be playing in the top group in the spring, it has to be earned, it's not like NEP. Anyone with a little bit of intelligence (ruling you out) can simply look at the GS results against four of the top teams in the country or five games against very strong MA u13 teams. There is not a team in MA that has played (much less defeated) that level of "quality".

Yes that was acknowledged regarding EDP, though the U13 Maple teams are pretty similar to top top U12 teams. Valeo has played and beat the Red Bulls. Hopefully will play additional strong teams over Columbus day weekend.

The only thing I learned from watching that whole video is that your production crew needs to learn what the definition of highlight video is. The bulk of the footage was not flattering.

Hard to say because the NEPAL standings are no longer publicly accessible after the dismal results of the worst team were posted. 10 of the 25 are DAP club teams but only one from northeast. Maybe the other Northeast teams are like the Bolts, treating the younger teams as cash cows to fund DAP, then dump the rich kids for quality at u16. Who knows?

The difference between you and I is your incessant need to promote your 11 year old's soccer team. I'll never know how my son's team looks on video because, unlike you, I don't take any of this too seriously and would never consider filming it. I'm more about the exercise and teamwork than the water cooler braggadocio routine. Thank god I have more than my child's soccer to live for.

NO, the difference between you and me is your need to insult a bunch of little kids who were recorded while playing a soccer game for training purposes. What you are doing just doesn't make sense and is very mean spirited. I've looked at their results and must say they look like a fantastic team. Why not just congratulate them or say nothing at all? After all, doesn't it benefit all MA soccer to have one of the best teams in the country? Does it make you feel better to degrade them?

Levels of seriousness

low level - read the blog get some information curious about what's going on youth soccer.

Med Level - read the blog and post some times to share information etc.

High Level - On the blog daily reading and posting getting upset every time some other team other than your sons gets any attention or recognition.

Then there's you! The worst kind of poster. Judgmental know it all. Mr. "I don't take this so seriously" I just post on here to educate the rest of you stupid soccer parents. I make statement like " When was the last time someone from MA made it to the pros. Case closed" With attitudes like that yes no one from MA will ever make the pros. The good thing is that you are the minority and there are many good people involved in youth soccer in MA and yes the level of soccer is getting better and will continue to get better but no thanks to you because "YOU JUST DON"T TAKE IT SO SERIOUSLY" I call BS on that one. It's probably more like you son isn't that good have to pick others. As a parent why wouldn't you want to film your kid doing something he loves regardless of his talent level.

Have either of these teams defeated a good u13 team or a top 20 u12 yet? CFC seems pretty solid, maybe NEFC can do better this weekend than WUP did.
