Why is parents getting along a positive aspect of a club? Of course, I would love that every club my child played for we would make 10 new friends but that hasn't happened. So why is that a negative on the club?

Parents getting a long is great for me but given the diverse background and interests of their players it is doubtful that you have a cohesive group. The parents hopefully can act "professionally" and support the organization but they do not have to have a great chemistry for the club's sake.

I think that parents getting along is a positive aspect of any club. It has nothing to do with narcissism.
I suspect you are the parent that stands alone at games.

What crappy brand of soccer NEFC plays!Not very creative at all.That is Battaglia's style, whenever challenged, the boys are taught to pass it off any direction. Just crap.No one makes daring runs, no air balls, no pin-point crosses. Awful, they will get smoked, just watch.

I agree that they seemed to have a very rigid style of play but they are not going to get smoked. They will easily win their division.
