Yeah this has GPS written all over it. I used to think GotSoccer was a decent way to gauge team strength but this is PATHETIC (I am NOT with Valeo)
Valeo plays townie teams. They shouldn't get points for playing punching bags.

What a sad misuse of GotSoccer by NEP. It will be fun to watch these "top" MA teams get blown out by maple or out of state teams.
The good news is that these NEP points are so out of whack that they mean nothing to non-GPS tournament directors.

NEP boys deserve points for inhaling and exhaling. Their parents paid for them fair and square.

except for the GPS (slime) placement, it seems accurate. WUP and NEFC are consistent in their winnings and Aztecs beat the "combined" Valeo/NU forces. It was mentioned somewhere that MAPLE will give points next season - will it be comparable? Does EDP?

Placement is not the same as awarding 3000 points to a team that can barely kick the ball.

Sour grapes about Scorpions? On the rise and ready to go. Tryouts are on the horizon and interest is high.

Who will coach this age for Galway now that they've lost the only decent coach the club had? The Galway team won the Scorpion Bowl this year. That should have been worth 3000 points!!!!!!

Did tryouts fortify any of the top teams? Who's in trouble?

Sorry - I am not a fan of Valeo in terms of parents being obnoxious and some other things I've seen, but we played one of their teams and they were very, very good. The kids talked to each other constantly, passed to feet and many of them had a great first touch. There was a lack of sportsmanship that wasn't great to see in some instances, but you can't take anything away from them regarding their skill. It was impressive.

All you need to know is who can play the ball and that narrows it down plenty.
