I'll tell you one thing. Bethesda is certainly not all that. NEFC is much better. Much. Wish we could play them more often. Although I might be getting a little soft playing all those easy games.

Valeo only scored 6 goals in 4 games in a weaker bracket while WUP scored 11 in a tougher bracket. It only scored 1 goal in total during the whole WUP tournament last Nov against FSA, NEFC, and WUP. It seems Valeo can win some games but may not be interesting to watch. Does Valeo have any good strikers?

Wait until you see the movie of the Valeo vs Bethesda game. You will agree that the better team lost. Guaranteed.

NEFC and Valero lost 6-0 to Bethesda and you morons claim you are much better than them? Do you have any idea how many teams you squeaked by that think they are much better than you? Valeo can't score and does not have great athletes-they have very few legitimate academy type kids.

Bethesda started to play kick and run. Very few passes completed. Their second goal was at the very end of the game. Valeo had the ball. Bethesda fell on top of one of Valeo players. Ref called it on Valeo (this was a recurring theme.) The ball was kicked across the field. Defense broke down and they scored. Other than that, Bethesda had a few good shots. Valeo was on Bethesda's half almost the entire game. Bethesda took Valeo players out in the box several times with no calls by the refs. One elbowed a striker in the back right in front of the goal and the player flew into the net. Ref let it go.
Every team has games like this. It's too bad that EDP did not train their refs better considering they are the "highest ranked tournament" in the country. Our game had an equally bad ref. Almost cost us our game. It is frustrating to watch unfortunately.

No big deal, and excuses arent warranted, even on this site with these knuckleheads.

I found the refs to be pretty good. But a few bad eggs can ruin a good game.
