Whatever, the team lost.. overrated or not... NEFC did not win the game.
If Valeo plays them and wins, they were the better team that day.

You may think those NJ/PA teams are overrated but there are a lot of them and if you(Valeo) played this level of competition all the time you would have more losses--the talent pool in NJ/PA is much deeper.

More good teams but the top teams are no better than those in MA. Don't let the EDP GS bonanza go to your head Copa dad. Counting the team tournaments, EDP is shelling out almost a half million GS points per age group divying the loot amongst some 60 teams. Of course you then have some 15 teams in the top 50, but not really. Valeo played about 30 games including u13 league and four tournaments, some dozen teams better than Copa. One loss. NEFC and Valeo are right their with the other 4 strongest teams in R1: PDA, TSF, Bethesda, Ukes. We'll find out in the spring.

It serves thousands of soccer players. NEP serves about a fifth and pretends to be high level soccer but the truth is that there are MAX three decent teams per age group. Some are better than the top MAPLE teams but most simply are not. NEP lower divisions are no better than MAPLE's.
