Your club and its parents are not taking this well. Is it the fact that you did not lose to a big enough R1 team, that you did not score many goals versus Scorp (tough bunch) or that you kids sat and were cold?

I'm sure the Valeo people are over it. They just enjoy to get a rise out of you and it makes my night when I laugh out loud over a response like this!

I agree with you - I made the 'link please" comment because I was curious to watch the Valeo team video and didn't want to search for it. Completely on your side! But I am curious to watch the best team in the world....... :) My son is U15 and believe me people, everything changes within a few years and I can promise you that your team may be special now, and may not necessarily be special later.
At our final season game, we had a lot of bad calls/no calls made by the ref. The other team scored an offside goal. Our CM scored a goal that hit the crossbar and dropped behind the net, but the linesman was nowhere near to see it and it didn't count. Our striker was getting pummeled on a breakaway and was tripped deliberately from behind in the box. Oh, and we lost - these things happen and life isn't fair. But you deal with it and grow from it. Things don't always go your way.
To the Valeo parents - please stop complaining and cut the bragging. It makes you seem so small. Stop bragging that you are getting this player or that player and that come spring the Elite team will be unbeatable and that we can "bet on it." Just STOP. If your team is awesome the soccer will speak for itself. If your players are great, the soccer will speak for itself. It's so petty to come on here and brag. Even if there is a troll pretending to be a Valeo parent, there are also ACTUAL V parents coming on here with so much detail that you obviously do have some Valeo parents posting here.
The reason why people love when Valeo loses isn't because they are jealous. It's because you are being nitwits with the bragging and complaining. And how condescending you are about the second-tier players joining you for a tournament. If their parents are on here, they certainly know how you all feel about them and that they have no place around your elite wonderkids. Just don't be surprised if those 2nd-team players surpass your precious future star one day.
I know this, because my kid did. He was toward the bottom of his roster in terms of speed/strength but kept working at it. As he grew and went through puberty, it was a whole different ball game literally. Those kids who were amazing at 10, 11, 12 - he surpassed most of them and became a consistent starter sometime in his U14 year. There are countless parents in the soccer world who can say they witnessed the same.
That's why it gets old that you brag. That's why it's odd to many of us that you most so many videos. That's why many of us who don't even have U12 boys like to come on this thread - because it's fun to read the crazy rants.
So, because I can't turn away from craziness, please post the link - I must see this wonder team that was robbed over and over and over.

Very annoying. The boys were very frustrated.
You know, you won'tvhave those ingrown town refs at big away tournaments.
