Does Valeo get GS points for EDP? I hope they are..... Then they won't complain about others receiving points. They are actually double dipping in points with maple and EDP. Enjoy it boys.

No, the issue was the flawed participation points for weak NEP teams. But of course GS doesn't matter if your team can't compete with Dallas Texans, PDA, TSF, Jackson, Cedar, etc. Those teams at the top got their by luck.

It will even out by June. BTW, nothing is stopping other teams from playing in more than one league, that's like saying double dipping because they play in several strong tournaments.

hope you are all enjoying this "debate"...perhaps everyone should let the kids from the various clubs play for a while and then later in the season we can actually see how good everyone is based upon a good sampling of results.

I am not enjoying it at all. I can't stop checking in to see the latest, but I don't enjoy what I read, I just can't stop myself. I suppose that as far as addictions go it is a relatively harmless one, but I wish I could just kick the habit. I was abstemious for the past year but this stuff just has a way of worming itself back in to your thoughts. Any suggestions how to kick this?

Yes, just be honest. When someone at work asks you how you are doing just tell them, "I just trashed a u12 soccer team and feel a lot better!" And then look at the expression on their face.

I don't think anybody is trashing a U12 soccer team... people are marvelling at the parents of the players on a U12 soccer team.

There's a big difference.

Amen my friend, amen. This group of parents is equally adept at using their children as both an instrument of instigation, as well as a shield for deflecting criticism. I can't decide if the parents that post here lean more towards the sociopathic end of the spectrum or the psychopathic one.

Now it is, "NEFC and WUP can't play 11v11" Whatever you say.

Everyone who has paid attention to this age group knows NEFC and WUP are the top two. Valeo (only by combining with NU) maybe has now caught up. Maybe they have, maybe they haven't. We don't know yet. What we do know is Valeo can't claim anything substantial until they put up real results against these two. A one goal win three years ago and ties (followed by subsequent losses and in some cases convincing loses) don't make a convincing argument.

Wow lots of anger today. I don't think anyone said WUP or NEFC can't play 11v11. Both very good teams. Nothing wrong with some banter about this age group and you are welcome to your opinion. It would help your case if you actually made an argument with something to back it up. Everyone knows, that's it? Please try to use some logic. If WUP and NEFC could not defeat V and NU why are they now better than a combined team? Any recents results to support this claim? Hope they get a chance to play and decide on the field!
