Very nice soccer. Valeo players obviously possess better skill and quality.
However, CT team's defense is rather poor.

"oh wait a minute, if you are not playing in the big leagues and tournaments on the Atlantic Sea Board your team and development philosophy stinks."
blah, blah, blah
Now it is, "NEFC and WUP can't play 11v11" Whatever you say.
Everyone who has paid attention to this age group knows NEFC and WUP are the top two. Valeo (only by combining with NU) maybe has now caught up. Maybe they have, maybe they haven't. We don't know yet. What we do know is Valeo can't claim anything substantial until they put up real results against these two. A one goal win three years ago and ties (followed by subsequent losses and in some cases convincing loses) don't make a convincing argument.

We still know that NEFC and WUP are better though.... OK.....sure, we can say that.

Levels of seriousness
low level - read the blog get some information curious about what's going on youth soccer.
Med Level - read the blog and post some times to share information etc.
High Level - On the blog daily reading and posting getting upset every time some other team other than your sons gets any attention or recognition.
Then there's you! The worst kind of poster. Judgmental know it all. Mr. "I don't take this so seriously" I just post on here to educate the rest of you stupid soccer parents. I make statement like " When was the last time someone from MA made it to the pros. Case closed" With attitudes like that yes no one from MA will ever make the pros. The good thing is that you are the minority and there are many good people involved in youth soccer in MA and yes the level of soccer is getting better and will continue to get better but no thanks to you because "YOU JUST DON"T TAKE IT SO SERIOUSLY" I call BS on that one. It's probably more like you son isn't that good have to pick others. As a parent why wouldn't you want to film your kid doing something he loves regardless of his talent level.

I'm supremely confident that 11 year olds are not on this forum reading these comments, so the charge that I'm demeaning children is specious, at best. As for pitying the parents, guilty as charged. I'm no know it all but I do possess a better sense of reality and self awareness than most of the Valeo posters here. I don't ever video a game. The thought of breaking down film at this age is troubling. Posting volumes of "highlight" videos to YouTube is juvenile. Judge me all you want but my contribution towards soccer in MA has always revolved around fresh air, teamwork, fitness and fun. I'll never understand you self-absorbed, boisterous parents. I hope you put as much effort into parenting as you do promoting.
