RE: Pimping. What would you call making promises that you know you can't keep?

could all back fire on Stars by taking on these two players.

Let us say that those two players go to stars. Now stars will have 5-6 players in NT? Check if there is any team with that many in NT. This is pretty laughable and pathetic.

The whole situation is pretty laughable. Him for selling it and them for believing it.

People, before you get too carried away, remember these numbers reflect invites to one or more NT camps, not an actual NT roster. One, maybe 2 may actually end up on the U14 NT roster when that time comes. The rest will have had a fun experience.

Don't know about that, but looks and feel extremely reckless to me. Someone has to have an enormous air of invincibility to engage in behavior this overt and this accusatory and defaming. Very brazen. Hope this person really knows what he or she is doing.

One thing about parents is they have a pack mentality and need to feed off of each other's courage. If you don't think this whole story has been played out to the NEFC brass you are kidding yourself. It is certainly not like this thing was kept very quiet so if you want to talk about being brazen why don't you turn it around think about how brazen soliciting other club's players before the end of the year is.

Bigger question is how are the parents of the two players these NEFC players will replace taking the news that their kids are getting cut from the ECNL squad?

Guess that means that BB will be looking for yet another job.

Hey, this is a pretty good thread. 611 page views in less than 2 hours puts it on track for something like 5000 page views in the day. Not bad.

The short answer is NO he doesn't have the pull. Only the anxious parents believe he does.

He's in a no win situation now. If these kids don't come over and don't get pulled into a camp he will be blamed for black balling them because of club politics. If they do jump over it will be because of a promise he knew he couldn't keep. The worse thing that could happen in this situation is everyone stay were they are and then get called into later camps. It will show how much of a pre tryout smoke screen this all was.

The 2 NEFC kids made national U13 ODP camp not USSF U14 national camp. Time will tell whether as their early puberty advantage wears off there is enough substance underneath to sustain their "greatness".

The timing of these posts (many posted together at the same time or within minutes of each other) seems to be a bit suspicious.
