sorry, tried to do maple games, but there are 3 valeos and 3 pt coastals....and i'm not sure which are the ranked teams...i'm guessing "barcelona" for valeo...

I thought this thread was not going to be snarky. But if that is where you want to go, Valeo is in the middle of the pack if you want to look at the Stars results. They are right there with the Scorpions. What was the score against Boston United (whoever they are)? If Valeo is a top team, I would expect a complete blow out (9-0). Or did they give you a hard time? I'll bet they did.

And yet Valeo beat them by only one goal. Personally, I dont judge a team by one game but I'll bet my right arm the poster above will continue to bring up the game NU lost in Stars. So tedious and tiring. Sigh.

Scorpions have lost more games in the past 8 days than Valeo has in all of 2013, spring and fall. Valeo does not try to run up the score against weaker teams to satisfy zany TS parents.

Who said Valeo was a "top team" at this age? That team might be good, but it has yet to do much. That said, at least their one loss at the Stars Cup was respectable (a 3-1 loss to Albertson). And, in MAPLE, no team should ever post a 9-0 win. GD is capped at 6. Running it up beyond that level is inappropriate.
