Doing wonders? Like when they put teams into D1 spots that don't deserve to be there? Ya right! Have another drink.

Scorps 15 had a nice weekend...won both games. Stars won one and tied the other. Wouldn't it be nice if Stars and Scorps finished the regular season 1st and 2nd? These two clubs are doing wonders for Mass soccer.

Wonders? care to list these wonderful "wonders" one just needs to compare coaches qualifications and depth and Scorps cant compete with Stars.. sure they have a strong team a 1 or 2 age groups but thats more from recruting.. the majority of kids arnt that 1 or 2 amazing athlete that could play any sport and be great most kids need to learn the game and aquire skill sets.. winning a MAPLE league is a nice thing but better to have your kid make a v good college team and a scholarship and they aint gonna do it by being a role player watching a superstar all game.

I am not a Stars or Scorpions supporter but the above moronic statement is what is wrong with supporters of any club for that matter. Can't accept that anyone else can do
something right. Frankly the Scorpions 15's deserve alot of credit. If you read the U-15 G
postings you will find that this team is playing with very low numbers and geting 2 good results against two very good NY teams is a an accomplishment.BTW the Stars did not manage to do that.

I can't say these clubs are doing "wonders", but they are certainly making a name for Mass soccer on the girls side. In R1PL North Scorpions U14 currently sits in first, Stars in 3rd. At U15 Stars in 2nd Scorpions in 3rd. At U16 Stars United and Scorpions will finish 2nd and 3rd depending on the outcome of this weekend's game and Stars Rovers finish 4th. And at 17 and 18 Stars are 3rd with the 18s only having played 2 games so far, but winning both. People definitely know the names of these clubs both regionally and nationally.

Of course they have a few teams that compete at a higher level than most. But to claim they are doing "wonders" for the state of soccer in Mass. is a bit overreaching. You need to stop dipping into the kool-aid.

See, that's where you don't get the difference between the training they get a Stars and the other clubs these players may have come from. It goes far beyond just the God given talent a player might have. It's the level of coaching, the level of competition, not just in games, but in training and it's an increase amount of time training that makes them better.
