It doesn't seem quite so good as last year but the Massachusetts teams really are doing wel at least on the girls side.
I think Academy has affected the boys side.

Duh - only seven MA teams made the playoffs this year - and just two boys teams. Last year it was 10 - 5 and 5.

How moronic are people on this site who make comments like this? Yes, finishing 4th in the R1PL is a pretty good thing. Look at the teams who finished above them: PDA, Stars United, Scorpions.... not too shabby! But the most important accomplishment is that they get an automatic slot in next year's R1PL and that opportunity is better than ANY other spring league in Region 1 which provides them good competition.
What's your kid's team doing in the spring? Idiot!

Be careful what you say about the U16 Stars Rovers, or their parents will clobber you with their lunch pails!

Loking at Girl's Playoff entries you have the following clubs with multiple teams:
PDA 4
Stars 3
Scorpions 2
Albertson 2
And the following led the way when it came to number of teams automatically qualifying for next year:
Stars 5
PDA 4
Albertson 3
Scorpions 3
Bethesda 2
Stars and Albertson U18s also finished in the top 4.
