This is completely inappropriate. It sounds like a number of the Stars players had off games. Please remember you are talking about 15 and 16 year olds here.

I love when the scolding from Stars parents starts. Nobody wrote anything negative. I assume that you mean that with all good intentions. But it seems like when Stars kids are mentioned in anything but the most positive light (college committments, National tournaments), it's inappropriate. How about those poor 15/16 year olds from Bolts/Scorps/MPS, etc who are constantly belittled. When kids move from Stars to another club, the Stars parents are first to write that they were not starters. How do those kids feel? Did a Stars parent ever think about defending those poor 15/16 year olds. Oh, I forgot, only the LI parents think their kids walk on water.

This was the same East Meadow team that almost tied the Scorps earlier in the day. The Rovers will do nothing right in your eyes. You're the same guy who finds fault with everything they do. Buddy....move on. It's over. The divorce is final.

I heard Scorps scored with 5 mins to go aswell to win 3-2. Do not underestimate EMU

I am the defender and as far as I can remember only there has one Scorpions player (and I am not talking about the NT player) who has been mentioned in the club context and each and every time I have defended her. So get off your high horse LOSER.

Every player that has recently moved from MPS to another team have been mentioned in a negative manner in this forum. Just look at the earlier post about the ""small midfielder from MPS". Even though she plays on the Stars she was categorized as from MPS. Even the girls that went to the Rovers have been hammered.

And Rovers won one and tied one. If Rovers can only tie East Meadow it is going to be a long season for them. Not a good day for Stars - 1-1-2, and the one win was against STA!

Yes, this is the same EM team that scored 2 goals against the Scorps. Looks like STA was also able to score 2 goals against them too. The same STA team that was 0-3 against Rovers and 0-5 against PDA. Could be a long season for all the Mass U16 teams.

The game was cancelled due to the Syosett coach claiming the lighting (generated) was not sufficient to play a game. The ref agreed (of course they would as they had been their all afternoon in the cold/wind and rain). An official complaint has gone in to R1 from a number of clubs. This means Syosett get to play Alleycats on a one off and without a game before. Total BS if you ask me.

Weren't they playing at the same field as PDA and Stars? Was this a case of selective lightning?

You've got to be kidding! Last year's state cup, posters were all over the MPS U16 players particularly the defenders and midfielders and how weak they were. And when several Stars girls moved to MPS, Stars parents needed to make sure that nobody thought that top Stars kids moved on but rather they were bench players. Not one Stars' parent defended those kids. They were only 15/16 too. Disgraceful.
