No one would overlook Albertson in the conspiracy. They were placed in the south specifically to help them finish in the top 4. Had they been placed in the north there is no way they would have had a chance whether PDA was in or out.

While everyone ooooo's and aaahhhhh's over who the top team is, as we can see a lot of conniving is done to get a team to the top. Syossett's merger and their initial attempts, with NYE's blessings I might add, to negate the rostering rules is just another example.

""Putting the decision to place PDA in the North aside, it is remarkeable how unfair the PDA created schedule is. Sure they have stuck it to the Stars with this weekend's games, and sent the Rovers on the road for 5 of 7 games, but more importantly, it is amazing that the divisions southernmost team gets 5/7 games at home and travels no farther north than Long Island. That isn't a conspiracy it is just blatent unfairness.

Check the U-15 north schedule that was created by Stars and you will find the same kind of
        "preferential" scheduling.
Been objective is not a strong point of the posters on this board.

Possible. I figure Bob is trying to pay PDA back for the fiasco at regionals and didn't care which Massacusetts team he punished.

Yes and no. Stars do have cushy locations in that they never have to travel outside of NE but remember that 4 of the teams are from NE. The NJ entry has three home games and only needs to travel to New England once. Seacoast got the worst schedule going to NJ twice and playing only two games at home. The killer for them was the decision to match them with the NJ Power for a single game. As for the Stars U16, they do have a tough first weekend but if they do well they then have five straight home games.

This debate shows how far Mass girls soccer has risen. 4 years ago, the very few teams from Mass that qualified would expect plenty of travel for at least 4 or 5 of their games.

Syosset is good, no doubt about that, but Stars United have been there, done that. Close but Stars United to win with their big game experience.

Why wouldn't Scorpions be in trouble when their game comes too?

Because Scorpions are better than Stars

Oh cause they lost 4-0 to Montclair (Scorpions had their NT player, Montclair did not) and Monstclair just lost 6-2 to Syossett. It seems like they should be worried too whether or not they're better than Stars.

Good luck to the 3 Mass U16 teams this weekend. It's apparent that the scheduling was done to give them a disadvantage against the New York, New Jersey teams. The best revenge is to win.

Will the weather impact the outcome of any of these games?
