I don't see Nobles being top team but a few additions should help them return to the top half of the league. Top five teams will likely be Rivers, Lawrence, Milton, Belmont Hill, and St. Marks. Each of those teams has a few standouts and some excellent depth returning.

There definitely will be some waivers for independent school kids. I know of at least a few as well as a handful who will not be playing. However, sssuming everyone from last year is back, the following kids look like the top scorers and players in the league.
BB&N- BS has yet to start in net for this team but will be amongst the best in the league if he gets a waiver. JN (15 pts) has been a dangerous player for many years and will be one of the best strikers in the league this year. WD, JW, and KA are also talented upperclassmen and there are lots of young club players behind them.
BH- LH and JF are both excellent players who play with a great deal of heart. Both will be all league type players along with goalie WG and cm WC. JC and HP also important players.
Brooks- Should be a dropoff from past years but SE, AW, and BL will step into key roles and look to produce.
Govs- CK, DP, ME, and ZL all return with starting experience but no real stars.
Groton- CH is a tough player and top returning player from last years strong team. Some other talented players like JB, RC, CO and TS.
Lawrence- AKu is arguably the best player in the league and had 28 pts last year. AKa also is dangerous and had 23 pts last year. AC and CH are also talented players and key parts of this team.
MX- Some solid young players like DC, AR, DP, JB, and GT but no real star.
Milton- CL, LW, and PS were strong performers for this team last year in the middle of the defense and ML and LV are very talented players who can take a big step forward this year. GBG (6 pts) was 3rd leading scorer as a 9th grader and has a bright future.
Nobles- Has a number of strong players and athletes like MC, WC, AG, PM, and CB. Getting an impact addition like DA from Blazers would be huge for this team. He would be one of the best in the league next year.
Rivers- TD (33 points last year) and DM (19 pts) are both dangerous players and amongst the best in the league. JS is also a strong player and an important part of this team along with NJ and goalie SVS.
RL- Losing a great deal to graduation but should return a solid core lead by RS if he gets a waiver. Will be supported by other strong players like PB and YK.
St. Georges- Has some talented players like ADL and HY along with CH and CI. Heard that they have some strong players coming in.
St. Mark's- SW (15 pts) is arguably one of the 5 best players in the league and will be a force next year. MV, LH, RD, and JM are all great players as well and will form the core of this team next year. JM is young but very skillful and should be a handful in a few years if he gets a waiver or plays outside of DAP.
St. Paul's- Loses a good deal of talent but returns some talented players. DN and AM top returing scorers.
St. Sebastian's- MG, AL, and DS are amongst the top returning players on this fairly young team.
Thayer- ACH and CB will be the top returning players and amongst the best in the ISL. They will be relied upon heavily unless they have some new upperclass additions.
Plenty of talented players in the league but AKu from LA is odd on favorite to be MVP. LH from BH, SW from STM, and JN from BBN, and TD and DM from Rivers are also top candidates.

Let's start with the easy ones. Are DM, AKu, and TD getting waivers. Is there any chance that if they don't get waivers, that they decide to play HS and Club or are they 100% committed to Revs with or without the waiver?

Lawrence and Rivers will be the two best teams next year and will have the two best goal scorers in the ISL in AKu and TD. Both hopefully will get waivers along with DM. If they don't who knows what will happen. Might be possible Gatorade play of the year goes to 1 of these 3 talented players.

Lots of talented players potentially entering the league depending on what you believe. SH possibly heading to Lawrence? DA potentially heading to Nobles? KH resurfacing in the ISL at Brooks? Another national team kid from Jamaica going to Milton? All would be difference makers for their teams and in the league standings.

Calm down folks. All we're doing is providing fodder for the Western NE Preps anyway. Berkshire, Hotchkiss, and S. Kent recruit national level, supported by regional level, talent. They play an incredibly sophisticated game. Most ISL teams have only 1, or at most 2 players capable of cracking their starting lineups.

Last I checked two ISL schools (Brooks and RL) won the B tourney which included S. Kent. S. Kent is a strong program but seem to have fallen off as international families realize it is more a sports factory than a school. Hotchkiss was great thanks to the recruiting efforts of its coach CD who left after winning a few NE trophies. The program will have a hard time competing without him and his connections. Berkshire will continue to be good because they have a good coach who hustles recruiting. Lots of those types of coaches in the ISL right now including BP at Rivers, NC at StM, SG at Nobles, DR at Brooks, CK at Milton, PS at RL and JS at BB&N. Those types of coaches will always have solid programs and will usually be excellent.
