It was the MA teams lucky day then that she wasn't there. That wouldn't have been the score if she had been present.

I thought I read here that 3 of the Players for Mass were invited to the National team camp? Not sure 1 player would of opened it up that much if this is the case.

2 girls from Stars were invited to national team camp. One from MA and one from NH. And yes, NH striker would have made a difference.

Doubtful that the score would be different. Yes, I have seen this child play. All of the goals she has scored this season have been placed on her foot in front of the net. Don't need much talent to finish those ones. Score would have remained the same.

From what I saw she would of got the ball maybe twice as it was a game of bootball on the NH side. The few good combinations got broken up pretty quickly.

If you have seen all the goals she scored this season then you must be a parent on her team. Shame on you for putting down a child who plays on your child's team. Maybe she will decide to leave the team rather than be considered a statue who just stands in front of the net and let's balls bounce off her into the goal. Maybe she will move to a team and play against you and then you can continue to watch her score

I wasn't sure why someone would be calling out the only NT player on their team as not being talented. It is either a ploy by another team or a parent who's kid is about to bump her out of her spot which is the Stars method of development.

I know this player and you don't have to worry. She works hard and recognizes that this is a team sport. She is thankful for her opportunities. Talk to her sometime and you will see. I hate to see parents saying bad things about a child they don't even know. I know it happens all the time on TS. Not all talented players are full of themselves.

Secondly, this player has scored over 25 goals this season (according to Top Drawer Soccer)and I find it doubtful that every single one of those was the result of a perfectly placed ball on her foot. That makes her an exceptional player in my book and obviously the NT team coaches agree or she wouldn't have been one of only 2 girls in New England to be invited to the camp. I would hope that the negative posts about this player are not coming from a parent of teammate. That would just be sad and pathetic.

It is sad and pathetic regardless of the source. Why are we trashing local (NE) kidswho make it to the NT? Same thing with the Mewis sisters. Someone always has a criticism. We should be celebrating these kids and wishing them success.
