It all depends on grades and finances. Call some admissions departments from some public universities to figure out where you would rank as a student and how much scholarship you'd get. Coaches are more likely to be interested in you if they don't have to give a full scholarship. Then best bet would be to start emailing/ calling coaches from a region you're interested in. I would recommend, since you don't have contacts and are already 19, to teach out to junior college coaches. They're very affordable, so you just need to pay for cost of living. Then, if you're good enough, a 4 year program can sign you after your second season. You could also put yourself out to coaches easier once you're here. And if you are behind the level it bus you time to catch up. We have a child that is starting out in travel soccer and we are trying to understand the various leagues and level of competitiveness. A few other parents were talking at a game and the sentiment was that that ECNL and ECNL RL for the boys side (they did not speak about girls) is a "scam." Their reasoning in Massachusetts is that they they thought they required clubs to put all their age groups in the league. That means that mostly larger more established clubs are part of it while smaller clubs are left out. They mentioned how this sets up a racial divide because many of the older big clubs are run by a head coaching staff that is mostly white while the really good smaller clubs are run by coaches from many other countries. One parent said it might give the impression that these big league teams are better but when you look at tournament results the clubs that play in "lower" leagues are beating the ones in the "higher leagues." It would be interesting if tryouts were the last week of July, right before teams start practicing for the fall. The downside would be losing any summer practices or workouts, though I guess you could do those in larger groups rather than specific to teams. But you would more easily be able to leave teams that qualify for summer play intact for those events. I feel like the whole summer would be used for unofficial evaluations/tryouts, so much like now, actual tryouts, especially for the top teams, would be almost a formality. I wonder how much of an impact summer travel, camps, etc. and the associated availability or unavailability of some players would have on that process. I don't love how it works now, especially at the older ages where you don't have a club season in the spring, then reconvene for a few weeks of practice and maybe a tournament or two right before tryouts. But I'm also not sure the other way would end up being any better. Wonder if we'll ever find out. What say you?

What “say” me? Well, first, you are crazy Ghorbanifar. Second, what the hell are you even trying to establish?
