Coaches, if you are coaching young adults, there is going to be up to a 10% chance you will have a player in a same-sex relationship (might be a high estimate). So, there is a good chance there will be 1-2 players on your roster is. Add in you have a group of people, with similar likes and interests and spending so much time together, players dating each other shouldn't be considered unusual today.
So, coaches, you need to learn to deal with it. Getting yourself involved, punishing players because ones you prefer are hurt, won't help. Yelling at players about their "+1" in the middle of a game, won't help. Enough with the "family" messages if you aren't going to treat all your players with respect.
You know who you are.
