          Tied white.
          Crushed by susa.
          Lost to scorpions.

FYI - The nefc starters who were instrumental in that tie are no longer at nefc.

They are desperate for the parents on Girls side to not find out.

            1. They are a boys club. They turned down ECNL Girls so they could retain MLS Next for the boys.

            2. Their league is no longer 1b. GA is a pure B league now. And GA will probably lose more of their top clubs next Feb.

            3. They know that P4 and mid major college scouts will stop attending their events once their current crop of recruits are done. Maybe they'll stick with the 08 class but the rest are toast.

            4. They know that their parents pay more than many ECNL parents. California, Florida, California, Virgina. Doesn't even include other GA showcases or ones like Jeff cup, etc.

            5. NB knows his coaching staff has been gutted by Stars. PW and LM in particular.

            6. NB has to personally coach the 2011s EVERY year or they'll go elsewhere. "Hey Nick, sorry but Steve is just too damn incompetent and an ahole to boot."

            7. Travel in the conference is obnoxious. Rochester and Syracuse, and on top of that the games suck.

            8. They are now competing with Bayside and RI Surf instead of Select. They are in danger of losing to their own north shore former DPL teams. How embarrassing.

            9. The new BC coach had his pick of the crop for his new assistant coach. He chose a Stars coach over nefc.

            10. Talent has left the GA teams. They are really trying to hide this point. Best high school age players have gone ecnl already. The ones that didn't....tried and likely will again. The 11s will leave in droves early spring.
Posted by another club? Disgruntled former employee?

All valid but still NEFC, Bolts and IFA are the only clubs that could positively represent the new england region. Yes Stars is great on the Girls side but i'm not sure where their boys side is going. Seacoast and Valeo lack organization in their structure, coaching and managment is kinda incomprehensible.
No. I will invalidate your “all valid” comment.

Only NB would revive an anti-nefc thread for the sake of his own ego.

Since the nefc crowd is so eager to keep this thread alive, let's keep going.

                  11. NB pulled his GA team out of the Stars labor day Cup at the last minute solely due to his petty pique at club politics. "Screw you girls. Go to Epping and play nobody teams instead of playing top ecnl in Lancaster". Parents are rightly pissed.

Why were they surprised. 2 years in a row they have ducked.

Stars, Select , NEFC and scorpions will be battling it out for years now , NE surf could be apart of that equation if they switch to GA.

                        GA is dead.

Not dead. ECNL just popular at the moment. It comes in cycles and there’s plenty of need and talent for both national leagues. ECNL folk like to say it’s dead but the reality is there are not enough ECNL spots for all of the players who can play well and want to be seen and go to college. If you have 50 players all going out for one team atleast 40 are likely interchangeable with 3-4 standout players that have D1 possibilities. The 20-25 that make the team aren’t even always the best players. Sometimes it’s best on positions, politics, etc. The remaining players do not want to go to pasture in ECRL regional
land when they are good enough to play national. GA is another option for those players in high school to be seen.

I don’t know if you are a GA or ECRL daddy.

The GA high school age players aren't on the same level as ECNL. The former DA players were. They’re pretty much done now. What’s left at the high school age for GA is B league. ECRL was always B league.

The 2011 GA parents have already figured it out and the better players will be in ECNL practices by March.

^agree. And with 4 ECNL teams in the the state and 2 in CT that catch some western MA talent, there are plenty of ECNL roster spots for all the top players. GA is truly dead. Once the GA Playoffs/Champions League happen this year, and it is apparent that the majority of quality clubs and college scouts have left, there will be no more debate on the subject. Until then, look at things objectively and don’t feel forced into your opinion by the decisions you have made for this year. You can always change your decision.
