Parent/kid A is currently experiencing hardship 1 (being youngest), hardship 2 (having two trapped years), hardship 3 (not playing with class friends), etc.
Parent/kid B is currently experiencing no hardship.
College coach/recruiter is currently experiencing hardship 4 (extra spread in recruiting trips).
ECNL: "The whole switch has proven to have been a mistake, maybe we should undo it. We could remove hardship 2, 3, and 4 completely, but that means we would have to move hardship 1 from A to B."
Parent A: "Thank you."
Coach: "Thank you."
Parent B: "The system was perfect. Parent A is just being selfish."
Hilarious.

The only reason they want it moved is to help their mis be the oldest on the team. That’s it. The rest of this is pure bs and distraction. Someone is going to be the youngest. But what irritates me is that in typical m******* style the daddies and mommies are more than happy to sacrifice other people’s kids to prop their mia up. Pretty disgusting behavior

So you should finally log off and stop posting because the switch (which is definitely happening) will bring nothing but positive changes. Right? Because again according to you there is no impact for trapped players then there most certainly wouldn’t be a negative impact due to the new system without trapped players. Perfect problem solved! Bring on grad year….

Why change something no one other than fall bday parents perceive wrongfully so is a problem. I’ve debunked every single talking point. Yet you still don’t get it. Do you think the earth is flat too?

So are you all going to come here daily trying to convince each other you are right? Let it go. ECNL and GA directors don’t care about your reasons to make this change or keep it the same. They could care less about you and your opinions. We are full of a country of entitled people who think if they yell louder they get what they want. No. Not here. The powers that be will make decisions based on what they feel not you, is best for creating the best pathway for players to play college, not pro. This has nothing to do with trapped players and everything to do with recruiting. The back and forth here is a waste of your summer.

[QUOTE=Guest;n4654316]Originally posted by Guest View Postwhat hoops do you have to jump through? What are you talking about? What’s the downside to the current cut off? Seriously not one legitimate fact to change has been made. Oh except that it shifts the burden to a different birth month. Someone will be the youngest always. There’s no benefit to making the change. 0
