People confuse leagues and clubs a lot in this thread. Sounds like the state association told one of the leagues it sanctions. Maybe they reached out and asked? Then that little league made a decision about what it’s rules would be never year and told its member clubs. It’s a small league, most clubs in Michigan don’t play in it. They will probably hear from their leagues later.

Yes and they were tagged in the post and have had 6 hours to say it's fake, it's clearly not fake. They'll probably get a stern email from US Soccer though.

That MSYSA statement doesn’t say where their information has come from. It just says it’s been confirmed. It doesn’t say by whom

I agree it’s very odd but we did receive the notice today. Maybe they sent it before they were supposed to? Still curious to see what ECNL will do.

It's a rec league who posted the official notice from Michigan State Youth Soccer Association. I'm saying MSYSA would have said it's fake but they haven't. Do you think MSYSA sent out an email lying about it not being in place for 25/26? Why would ta state regulatory board do that? Time to face facts, I think it's stupid too for the record but obviously it's real. 0 chance they made it up.

Personally we hope it’s rejected Atleast at year.
not ready to tear apart teams need time to get a handle on what they would look like. But think it’s likely to happen by 2026-27, and my guess it will be grad year.

Its 100% confirmed they sent it to all leagues in the state. Why they did, anyone's guess. They're probably getting their asses reamed right now.
