Who Knew that Going Out of Biz was the Highlight of Aztec

Aztecs has been a nonentity for its entire existence. Nobody cared a bit about them, but now that they have closed their doors forever, people are finally talking about them. Sad, really. Just another club ruined by 3Step. Maybe Seacoast will be next.

Super constructive. There will be a time in your life when you will need a bit of compassion; I hope there are others around you with a better outlook on life with a sense of decency. Maybe they will help you, then again . . .

I hope you all realize that there are kids involved here who were happy playing a little extra soccer with their coaches that they were happy with. Funny for you adults but having to explain to little kids who just started this year and fell in love with playing locally outside of town is a pretty upsetting thing as a parent. You all can be happy and enjoy watching a company fail but in the end there are 100s of kids who are confused and disappointed. Let’s hope the karma doesn’t come to find you someday.

People always forget the kids on this site. Our team of teens was dragged through the mud recently and the kids found the posts. Made them feel like crap. They know they’re not the top team in the state and never will be, but they work hard, win more than they lose, and like their coach. Unheard of apparently to be happy. They didn’t need to see their coach crapped on and numerous comments about how low level their league is and how none of them will play in college because they’re not on Stars Blue. They like playing. Who cares. Adults are jerks.

Good lesson for them. Your boss will move on. Your teacher will move on. Your favorite bartender will move on. It happens.

The issue with Aztecs is around the parents. They had/have an inflated opinion of their kid's abilities and can't understand why there weren't people knocking on their door. They wanted all the perks that come with these leagues, but not the effort involved. I don't blame the kids, I blame the parents.

Remember, it's not the kids that are on here bragging about how great they are, it's the parents.

and the coaches don’t forget the coaches that get the parents believing all these things are coming to them. Parent students out you did need to leave for a bigger club and better league as that’s just what all your coaches did. Do you believe their lies now?

So, these parents who thought their kids were good bothered you so much that you felt justified in ripping them apart online? You’re like…what? A SJW for kids soccer? A tough guy making sure parents know their place? Who cares that much?

No one knocked on their door so what? How did it affect you? You just felt like a bigger man for putting them down?

Seek help. It’s not that serious. Or at least it shouldn’t be. It’s kids soccer.

Who cares? See it all the time with Stars…they’re the best in the land! Yet the vast majority aren’t playing at P4 schools and even those who are, aren’t impact players. Is it my job to put them in their place? Of course not. It doesn’t affect me what other parents think of their kids. I’m not that insecure.

What did the Aztec coaches promise? Specifically who promised what?

Actually, I don't rip anyone. I come on here for a chuckle or two.

But, you know, fvck around/find out. If you come on the internet spouting nonsense, you will be called out.

                          Someone has the assumption that:

                          * These kids are really good
                          * Coaches from colleges will come see them play
                          * They can achieve their goals of playing at the next level just by staying put

How did they get that impression then?

To be clear, nobody really gives a rats ass about any players, except their own. Plenty of parents know the truth, and if someone wants to believe otherwise that's totally fine.

Apparently you are insecure about Stars.
